What is it?
TNEC is an inter-school competition that is available to all secondary schools in the UK. The challenge is divided into two age categories: Key Stage 3 (Year 7/8) and Key Stage 4 (Year 9/10).
The challenges are tailor made ‘real life’ business challenges. This year’s challenges have been set by Ryman and Alton Towers.
What skills do we focus on building?
Inspirational Guest Judges
Our aim every year is to bring you an inspirational entrepreneurial speaker and in 2013, I think you’ll agree that we achieved this by getting Lord Sugar to attend the finals night. In 2014 we had Theo Paphitis and his company Ryman as our sponsor and we are delighted to welcome Theo back for the 2nd year running.
National Finals
Each school that takes part in the challenge will send its winning team of 6 pupils and 2 teachers to The National Finals which will be held at Alton Towers Resort in July 2015. There are also awards for the most enterprising students, teachers and schools.
What are you waiting for? Contact us now to enter your school into the National Enterprise Challenge. An inspiring, exciting and innovative educational experience for your pupils.
